Don't miss this Swish event in Rampton today!Looking forward to our 3rd SWISH - just 10 days to go!This year we're delighted to be coinciding with Secondhand September secondhandseptember.org, come along and support this fantastic initiative to reduce waste and the harmful effects of fast fashion. Please start sorting and setting aside your unwanted clothes, shoes and accessories in good, clean condition (no underwear). This is a FREE event, you can bring and take as much clothing as you like. Items left over at the end of the afternoon will be donated to local charity shops. Please bring clothes etc. that you wish to swap between 11:00-11:30 am on the day. Our volunteers will then hang them on rails/display them before browsing starts at 11:30 am. Our café will be open throughout the event from 11:00 am, so you can have a cuppa and piece of cake while you're waiting for the swishing to begin.Donations for the clothes you choose to take away are very welcome, and will allow us to cover our expenses and fund future events and local sustainability projects.Helpers needed - if you are able to spare an hour or two on the day e.g. to help put the clothes out, help in the cafe or clear up afterwads, that would be great! No clothes to donate? No problem, come and grab a bargain/have a cuppa anyway. We hope to see you there!@followers Rampton Parish Council Rampton Tea Club Rampton Christmas Fairies The Black Horse Rampton Rampton 77 Committee HI Sustainability Greater Cambridge Recycles@ Sustainable Northstowe Sustainable Cottenham SOW - Sustainable Oakington & Westwick Sustainable Willingham The Sustainability Hub National Association for Charitable Textile Recycling #secondhandseptember#sustainablefashion #sustainableliving #ecofriendly # ...
